So much of our world is changing, and not always for the better. We all wonder every now and then what will be left of beauty and nature when our children are the age we are now. To let our young ones realise what there is to be lost, we have to let our them enjoy the things to loose.
Simple things like walking in the woods, digging in soil, seeing animals in their habitats and climbing in mountains. Getting completely dirty and staring at the endless horizon of an ocean. The future of our planet depends on us and on our children; they too need to learn to appreciate it.
We preach for unstructured time outside to use their imagination and be allowed to make up their own games, figure things out and amuse themselves. To entertain and problem-solve. Let them be vagabonds.
During the shoot of this collection we went to a playground in the middle of the dunes of our hometown Bergen. We actually let children from the city experience this outdoor get a way together with children that live in the dunes. We all learned from each other this day! It was a cold day! And to prevent us all from freezing we had to keep moving and this running and playing all day made it super easy to shoot these amazing campaign photo’s and film! Our total collection had stains and spots all over but it was so worth it! We all enjoyed to the max! Check the result in the campaign movie in this journal!

Lots of diversity in fabrics design this season. Endless choices to combine the most inspiring outfits. Stripes and jacquards. For boys and girls! Beautiful earth tones and the softest fabrics. Organic cotton is always the base of all fabrics we use and we brush inside in winter to keep your little one extra warm! This season we combine this with recycled and other non-conventional materials. We use mohair and alpaca this season in our knitted items, it doesn’t itch so you can imagine to comfort to wear it! And it’s warm too! Our goal is to continue this premium quality kids wear that’s lasts a lifetime!
Making sustainable choices does not mean we all have to wear only basic items for 10 years and nothing else. Its also about what raw materials we use. The way we dye our items or use as less chemicals as possible. Or even better; use none. We want to be transparant. We know who makes our clothes, we take care of our employees in the offices, factories and every other place that is part of our production chain. Wether we call it slow fashion, ethical fashion or eco fashion. It all contains sustainability. That is our responsibility.
